TARTAN - We wear the Ancient Lamont tartan. In 2000, the band were formally given permission to wear the Lamont tartan by Peter Noel Lamont of that Ilk, 29th Chief of the Clan Lamont. Traditionally only people belonging to the Lamont Clan were entitled to wear the tartan. People with the following surnames are entitled to wear the Lamont tartan:- LAMB - BLACK - LUCAS - PATRICK - TURNER - WHITE - BROWN - BURDEN.

SAFETY OF THE BAND - All our adults have enhanced DBS checks, these were previously known as CRB checks.
